It's winter in Jerusalem, which means it feels a bit like mid-November in Connecticut... but I'm hoping for snow, and making plenty of hot cocoa, and I finally have a bit of vacation and time to study on my own again, which is just lovely. I abandoned ulpan for the time being and am back to my wonderful tutor, because I learn so much more that way... but I am aiming to head back to class by the end of February.
I'm still posting less frequently, but it's worth checking out both my blog and my Flickr photo album once in a while! I've been posting photos and stories of the places I visit and the weekly changes to my future plans... Who knows where I'm going to end up? I certainly don't. But staying in Jerusalem is becoming increasingly tempting, and I just might do it. Stay tuned.
I still update this site periodically, and I'm still writing (sporadically) for both JVoices and Jewish Mosaic... but of course feel free to email me if there's anything specific you want to know, or if you're going to be visiting in or near Jerusalem... there's some fabulous coffee in this town, and I'm always happy to share. *grin* |
